Re: Victims Fund & Family Awards(Sept. 11)

Published in the St. Paul, MN Pioneer Press, December 8th.

We are certain that we are not the only ones confused about funds to surviving families. We have many questions regarding money distribution:

1. Did those lost have Life Insurance?
2. If one of us looses a spouse, child, etc., to a drunken driver, will the government give us a financial award?
3. Charities are all ready helping people out with their loses and isn't this the way many others in our country receive help during a tragedy?

We believe some funds should go to help rebuild New York, but especially to MAKE LIFE A LITTLE MORE CHEERFUL (OR COMFORTABLE) FOR THE POLICE AND SALVAGE WORKERS. God knows their dedication should be rewarded in a meaningful way.

We worry about the real intention behind this pay-off.
