Fairness in Compensation
I find it hard to believe that heterosexual illegal aliens families will get
compensation from the Victims Fund, but there is nothing available for the
partners of gay people who died in this national tragedy.
I realize that we are in a Republican administration and there is a renewed
virulent effort to marginalize gay relationships, but why is the family of a
non-gay person being viewed as more worthy of compensation than a gay person?
It boggles the mind to think that we have turned the clock that far backward.
