I lost my fiance on Sept. 11th. Along with went our new
house 2 cars and financial security for the future. He lived with me and my
son and supported us 100%. We were planing to be married in May. had
made me his beneficiary 4 weeks before the disaster, but all those records
were destroyed. He had no will and now his parents have control of his
estate. They have shown no consideration for my pain and financial struggle.
It is very important that the domestic partners, fiance, that were
financially supported by these men or women be given the highest
consideration with this bill. We are all grieving and the new financial
responsibility is causing great stress. Please help.
