Discrimination is unaceptable...
Could it be true that partners of gay and lesbian victims of Sept. 11 will
not receive equal compensation? Did we not learn our lesson with slavery and
women's suffrage? When is it ever appropriate to discriminate?
I truly hope this is a mistake, crazy Internet hype, or a simple
misunderstanding. If so, please forgive me. If not, I wish those making
this decision will be forgiven in the spirit of love of those who lost their
lives and gave so freely.
