9-11 Victim Fund

I was distraught when I heard that gay and lesbian households will receive no
aid from the 9-11 Fund set up to aid families of those that perished. There
is no reason that we cannot respond with compassion to all the victims of
9-11, certainly the American people did, now the organizations that were so
selflessly donated to need to respond with that same compassion. People that
hide behind the bureaucracy of these organizations and justify their lack of
human decency due to the need of "rules" are small and pathetic shells of
human beings. This policy needs to be changed.
