Upon reading of a conversation on one of Sunday's political talk shows, I became incensed. A "gentleman" who works under the direction of the misanthropic U.S. Attorney General informed the moderator and the public that significant others and dependants of gay or lesbian 9-11 victims would recieve no help from the victims fund if the state involved (assuming the victim's home state) did not recognize same sex unions. That is disgusting! Carrying Ashcroft's despicable discrimination into the dissemination of charitable funds points out just how un-Christlike this digusting self-styled musician/preacher has become. It also underlines not only the total stupidity of the man who nominated Ashcroft to begin with, but how moronically sheep-like the Congress was to have confirmed the nomination. 9-11 and its heroes notwithstanding, this administration has, once again, made me ashamed of being an American.
