We are all Americans!
Was the the theme touted through the media and echoed in the rhetoric of all of this country's leaders for months after the terrorist attack on September 11, 2002. My outrage at that attack is not only exceeded by my outrage that the partners of gay men and lesbian women who died in the attack will not receive the same benefits as all others, including illegal aliens. Doesn't citizenship in this country count for anything except paying taxes! You should all be deeply ashamed for the stain on American honor and the sense of fair play that has epitomized this country for so long. Upon hearing of your actions I have been ashamed to think that I would be linked with you in the class of Americans!
