Sep 11 Fund


To Whom It May Concern:

If it is true that the Fund is willing to provide for surviving families of
illegal aliens (who are breaking Federal law by their presence in this
country) and NOT for the surviving partners of gays and lesbians who died
in the attack, then I must share my concern about this approach.

Clearly, the Fund is willing to overlook the law in the former case (which
i think is admirable), and yet not willing to do what's right in the
latter. This does not only appear arbitrary and inconsistent, but
mean-spirited as well.

The tragic events of September 11th have tought us many things, including
compassion for those who have suffered so greatly. You have clearly not
learned this lesson.
