September 11th Fund - for ALL Americans

I am still in shock and horror and anger at the outrage committed on Sept. 11th on not only those directly impactedf but also to all people worldwide who value our American way of life: pluralistic, open, free and democratic.

That is why I am horrified and outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those who died on September 11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses.

We do not have to agree with everyone in this country, but we DO have the obligation to make sure that "Liberty and Justice for all" extends to ALL American citizens, and not just the religious extremists.
