Regulations re: Public Law 107-42

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am a solo practitioner in New York City that specializes in personal injury
litigation.

In order to ensure that the victims of the 9/11 tragedy and their families
receive fair and just compensation, and to the fullest extent consisitent
with the statute, I urge the adoption of regulations that will judge each
case on an individual basis. I have read with dismay that there is a push to
have the victims' damages judged according to a chart or matrix.Having
specialized in this area for over 20 years, I know that no 2
cases are alike and that even when claimants suffer the same injury, so many
other variables dictate a different result. This is especially so in the case
of the victims who
perished on 9/11.

I am also a proud member of both the New York State Trial Lawyers Association
and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and signed up for their
project in which
I will be representing claimants pro bono. Please allow me and my fellow
volunteer
attorneys to render our expertise to the victims of the tragedy so that they
receive the just compensation they are due. Thank you.

Very truly yours,
