As I read Defense Secretary Rumsfeld's statements in a Parade magazine article I was impressed and pleased to hear him say that this war is about preserving our way of life, our freedoms. Do we want to give off the message that we operate out of certain religious beliefs in how we choose which americans are entitled to receive benefits? Is not that the same kind of religious bias that the terrorists used to commit their atrocious acts on Sept. 11th? I believe we are better than that. I hope you do too.
