I just read in Time magazine that the victims awards are being reduced by the money they get elsewhere. What a relief! I am not happy that my tax money is going to them at all, despite my sympathy. But I gave money to the Red Cross to help them. They got incredibly greedy over those funds, making me sorry I contributed. Now they're snarling over the government funds. No one should get to clean up just because a loved one dies. People's loved ones die every day and they don't feel entitled to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
