Dear Attorney General Ashcroft,

The deaths on September 11th were the result of an attack on America -- all
types
of Americans and their families. For most of these families, whether or not
legally
married, the loss as you know has been devastating financially.

Please do not support discrimination against the unmarried partners of
September 11th victims. All unmarried partners, heterosexual or homosexual,
and their
dependents should be eligible for compensation -- subject to strict
affadavit
proof of a shared primary address, common residential of at least a year,
and shared
expenses of at least a year.
