Equal Treatment
I am outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those
who died on September 11 are not automatically going to
receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses.
I urge you to take action by stopping this un-American behavior.
Please ensure that gay and lesbian partners receive the same benefits as
heterosexual spouses. I would appreciate a response to my email in an effort
to ensure that steps are being taken address this inequality of treatment.
The events of September 11 have show us that all Americans are equal.
Regardless of whether they are African-Americans, Italian-Americans or
Gay-Americans. Please keep this nation strong, not divided!
