Aid to victims of 9/11

To Whom It may Concern in the Justice Department:

In regard to the distribution of resources of the September 11 Victim
Compensation Fund, I urge you to include in your definition of eligible
beneficiaries those who were life partners or children of people who died,
regardless of sexual orientation or marital status. In my opinion, if one has
been sharing living quarters and/or living expenses and has been functioning
as a family, then one is a family. These people deserve assistance every bit
as much as those who lived in the traditionally accepted family unit.
