Partners of gay 9-11 victims are Americans too!


It is my understanding, based on the comments
of Kenneth Feinberg on the March 10 broadcast of
NBC's Meet the Press, that the DOJ fully intends
to compensate everyone, including illegal aliens, from
the Sept. 11 Victim's Compensation Fund, with the
possible exception of gays and lesbians.

I am outraged that gays and lesbians will receive no
compensation from the Sept. 11 Victim's Compensation
Fund based on state law. How could you possibly give
illegal aliens benefits and not American citizens? It seems to me
that when it comes to other things, such as regulating speed limits, legal
drinking age, gun control, the Feds could give a rip about state law.
State laws are honored only when they are a means to an end: in this case,
no funding for gays and lesbians. Shame on you!

No one must be left behind, and that includes gays and lesbians!
