unfair to GLBT

To whom it may concern:

I am not surprised, but I am upset by the fact that the partners of Gay victims of 9/11 will not be receiving the same benefits awarded to their heterosexual counterparts.

Have we learned nothing since 9/11? One of the reasons we were attacked is our freedom and diversity. In America, you at least have the opportunity to live
the life you want to live for yourself. The entire country was affected that day and continues to be affected. This includes your Gay Americans as well.

I hope you can find it in your true hearts to see your way clear to give assistance to the partners of the Gay victims of 9/11. They lost their lives too. Can we
do any less for their survivors?
