Gay And Lesbian compensation

Dear Mr. Zwick,

I am writing in regard to the Department's request for public comments
about the September 11th Fund. I want to express my strong feelings
that in the spirit of this country's "equal opportunities" for all, that
it is essential to make compensation available to all victims of the
attack. This should include the family members, partners and children
of gay and lesbian couples. Please do not turn away from these families
in a time of such devastating grief and pain simply because they have
chosen to live a lifestyle that differs from the "norm." As a taxpayer
and a contributor to those in need, I hope that this fund is used in
fair and democratic ways, rather than to follow the narrow views of
limited groups of people.
