Equal Rights for All Victims
All spouses and significant others of victims of September 11 should receive the same compensation. Just because the federal and most state governments discriminate with their laws, doesn't mean the families of gay/lesbian victims should receive less. Partners receiving money will never bring back their loved one, but we don't need to add salt to the wound by ignoring their existence or value.
