Dear Director Zwick,
I am writing to ask the Justice Department to include among relatives eligible for compensation those who lst their life partners as well as defacto parents or children, without regard to sexual orientation or marital status.
Please follow the example already set by New York's Gov. George Pataki. In the LGBT community our pain is no les and our loss is no less. Our access to justice and equality must be no less.
