LC Story: Story
I was sleeping on our couch after working the night shift because the neighbors above us were making such a racket that it was very hard to sleep in the bedroom.
My mother called and said over the answering machine
" Jennifer the Trade Towers have collapsed, the country is being attacked. Your father and I are heading out of town because we don't know whats going to happen next.
You need to turn on the television and see whats going on" Every goverment building in the country was being evacuated as well as every airport and any other large gathering. My husband and I spent most of the next 3 days in front of the television when not at work. We witnessed the rebirth of patriotism and the death of more than 3000 people in less than 24 hours.
