911DA Story: Story

My story takes place the Friday after September 11th. On my way to work on that Friday after the Twin towers fell, I still cried that morning at the time when our nation lost the first lives of that terrible morning. As I was driving down a winding country back road still crying, I didn't stop in time and rear ended the person in fron't of me. It didn't do too much damage to neither one of our vehicles. The man that I hit got out of his car and I got out of my van, still crying. I told him that I was very sorry that I hit his car and that I would get my insurance information. He said not to worry about it and gave me a nice warm hug and sent me on my way. This story shows that I'm not the only one with a warm heart and a kind spirit in these trying times.
