I had surgery on my elbow and was home on medical leave. I got a call at 6:30 am pst from my daughters boyfriend who sad "turn on the television". The rest is all a part of history. After the shock set in I realized that I would have been on a plane that morning going to Chicago for a conference if I had not been home on leave. I didn't loose anyone I knew that day, but I cried for a very long time for those who did.
