Second hour had just come to a close, and my group of friends were congregating in the hallway during our break when a girl we knew approached us and told us that a plane had crashed into the Pentagon no more than an hour ago and that several others had flown into the World Trade Center. I didn't understand the gravity of the situation until pepole switched on the tvs in the hallways, and the horrifying explosion of a jet colliding with a giant building filled the tv screens.
