Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: What a terrible day to have your husband wake you up and tell you two planes had flown into the World Trade Center Towers. As you turn on the television; you are trying to get dressed for work, you can't believe what you are hearing and seeing. More attacks, the pentagon and then a plane went down in PA. Our President being flown all over the place and our Vice President being hidden. This can't be true...but it was. All day long you listen to the radio; trying to work, you come home to listen more to the television. So much death.... for what? Why would anyone do this to America, a country so loving and giving and helpful to others. Anyone who needed help, America would help and now we had been attacked. Flags came out, hanging from homes,on businesses, on cars, on freeways, banners and signs..... God Bless America.......United We Stand....and our heros.........As we unite today and honor the 1st anniversary, it seems it has actually been harder, as last year we were in shock, this year we are full of emotion for all the lives that were lost. But again we must say thank you to all the Firefighters and Police Officers who were there to help to rescue people in the Twin Towers and finally to the heros of Flight 93 who had the courage to overpower the terrorists and bring their plane down in a field in PA.
