I am a native New Yorker living in Colorado for about 3 years now. I was getting ready to go out when I heard the broadcast over the local T.V. station. It wasn't real to me for a good reason. A few years before I moved to Colorado I went to a job interview at the World Trade Center. As I was riding up in the elevator to go to my interview, the elevator started swaying back and forth. I got very scared and decided not to go ahead to the job interview. Who knows what may have happened if I had went ahead and gotten that job that day. I might not be here to write this story. I think about all those people who were working there and lost their lives and the lives of their loved ones today. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I will always be a New Yorker.
