I was sleeping when my phone rang I quickly got up to answer it. It was my husband, he was at work, he told me what happened and told me to get up and turn the T.V. to the news on CNN. I paniced and got up, I turned on the T.V. to CNN, like he said, and there it was. All I could do was think, "Is this the end of the world?" I was very scared and horrified by what I saw. With permission by the news, that if we felt the need to pick up our children from school, that we were allowed to and that the schools would permit them to do so, I went, with no delay, and picked up my son from school. My son was 9 years old at the time. He had many questions on that day, 9/11, and even now he has questions. I have and I will try to answer all his questions as best as I know how. I cried on September 11, 2001 that very morning, I got up a little after 9AM, and I will not ever forget. My father-in-law recorded everything that happened on the VCR. God Bless America!!!!
