I remember hearing the kids at school talking about what had happened on 9/11 but I didn't se anything about it on th e news. When it really hit me as to what had happened was probably around 4:00 and I was at volleyball practice. I remembedr one of my teammates started to cry histarically because her dad was on a plane to New York and she hadn't heard from him. When i saw what this did to poeple I got very upset. I didn't know how to respond to everyone else talking to me about what had happened and what if we had to go to war. My mom thought i didn't care about anything because I didn't ever want to talk about what had happened but I did, I just didn't feel comfortable talking about talking about the horrible things that had happened to so many people. I will nenver forget that day and I dont think anyone else will either. We have come so far and we will never forget.
