911DA Story: Story

On September 11th, 2001 we were on our way to my son's school, when I heard the breaking news on the radio. I dropped off my son, went home, turned on the TV and watched the horrific breaking news on television. Next, I called my friend that's originally from NY, to see if she has family or friends that work in the area. She was in her car and hadn't even heard the tragic news. She raced home and started to make phone calls to family. Luckily no one was caught in the disaster. My husband came home early from work and we watched TV all day. I felt so helpless! I will never forget this tragic day!!
