Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I, Kristina A. Spence, was sitting at work when this incident occurred. I sold vacation packages to people in the U.K. I was in the middle of a call when the person on the other line stopped me in mid sentence and said, "Are you crazy?!?!? You are being bombed!" And the hung up. I looked around the room to see if any of the managers were monitoring my call. Then another worker said, "Turn on the radio, something is going on!" We listened to the radio, all I can remember thinking was this is not happening. I went home from work and the first thing I did was turn on the t.v. I watched all day in shock with my roommate. It wasn't until about ten or eleven o'clock at night that I found out that my father had been in the first building. His name is, Maynard S. Spence, Jr. He was on the 101st floor. I didn't believe it. I thought my mother was going dillusional. I tried calling his cellphone and I couldn't get through. I got scared, thinking why me. I hardly new him. Even though he had been in my life for almost 18 years, I still fill as if there was so much more that I missed or hadn't learned from him. Like there was more that he was supposed to tell me or like he was supposed to be here to see me grow up and see my accomplishments in life. This was so unexpected.
