I awoke to the phone ringing. It was a friend. Her husband was in the Marine Corp. She was hysterical. They were expecting their first child in less then six days.He was on ship previous to that for six months and he was going to be released.She was so afraid that they were going to be sent out again. I was watching the television. It was the most horrifying thing i have ever seen. A total sense of shock. Everthing seemed to be going really well prior. We celebrated our sons first birthday on September 10th. Things seemed so perfect. I think this will be forever stuck in our minds and we have become very strong. I will never forget those who gave their precious lives for us.
