I was just about to leave for the dentist with my 5 yr. old son when my brother called and told my mother, who was visiting and answered the phone, that a plane had flown into one of the World Trade Center Towers and then went on to say that another plane had just flown into the second tower. The first thing that popped into my head of course was terrorism. As the day unfolded, my husband, who had jury duty which was cancelled for 2 days due to the attacks, myself and my mother all sat in front of the television for 2 days watching the horrible events unfold. I was not able to fathom these horrific events then and I still can not now, a year later. To all those people who lost their lives, and to all of those people who lost loved ones; I wish you peace and may you find comfort in knowing they are in a better place. Thank you to all the hereos for all the help and support you provided. God Bless America!
