911DA Story: Story
On September 11, 2001, I was at school. Miss Loft
(teacher's aide) was on the computer and we had just
finished Social Studies. Mrs. Luluban (teacher) said,
"This morning two planes crashed into our World Trade
Centers" and she turned on the TV. I watched the TV
and could not understand what I was seeing. I did not
understand until I came home at the end of the day and
my Mom sat down with me and my brother and explained
to us what had happened.
I was shocked at first, and then I was scared because
I did not want our Country to go into war.
Now when I see people who look like Bin Laden I am
scared. I fly to California every summer to see my
Grandma, now I am afraid to fly ever again. When I go
to the Navy Base, Whiting Field for Starbase I am
scared because soldiers with guns come on our bus and
look everywhere even under our seats.
Now our Country will never be the same. When I grow up
and I have kids of my own I will have to tell them the
way the world use to be, before September 11, 2001.
