Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My mom and I were just beginning to take our walk with my two dogs Casey and Annie. We had just been talking about where we should go and how we should spend the day. It was the fifth day of our visit together and we ended up spending it like millions of others clued to our television. We had decided just the night before to go into the city on Wed. instead of Tuesday. We might have been right down the street from the tragedy, instead we were safe.I am grateful for this and yet we never were able to take our trip into the city because of all the repercussions due to the tragedy. My parents are not well now and cannot visit me this year. So there is regret and sadness and gratitude for our safety but always there remains the unbelievable cirumstances that this was the only week my family could visit us here in NY.The week we will never forget a day we will always remember..Sept.11,2001.
