Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I remember waking up early on the morning of September 11th. I felt like something was out of place, but didn't know what. It was about 6:00 AM and I just couldn't sleep any longer. I thought I'd try and put myself to sleep with some boring movie or game show so I turned the TV on. What I saw next has been tatooed into my memory banks ever since. One of the morning shows had "breaking news" that one of the WTC had gone on fire. Nobody knew how or where, and all of a sudden, it was reported that an airplane had struck one of the towers, the north tower. Then, like most of America, I watched in horror as a second plane struck the south tower about a minute after I had tuned in. Numerous reports indicated that we were under attack, but nobody knew who or why, and a couple hours later the prime suspect was revealed. It was none other than Osama bin Laden, the man who for years tried to decapatate the almighty American economy and kill Americans overseas. It was the first ever attack of its kind. Not since Pearl Harbor was the U.S. hit by an attack, and nobody knew why anybody would want to hurt us. Fortunately, two of my friends who worked in WTC 2 came out of the building safely and have since moved back to Arizona. May God Bless the families who lost loved ones on 9/11 and may the victims rest in peace.
