I was in the hospital giving birth to my son on September 11th, 2001. I feel violated at the notion that someone turned such a beautiful day into such a tragedy. I wish none of us would have to reflect on the days events but I find it hard to feel comfortable to celebrate his birthday on the actual day since when I mention it, people automatically comment on what a day to have been born. It was obviously meant to be and I thank God for him everyday. I also feel sorry for those who lost so much that day. Surely NONE of us will ever forget, yet let us remember that out of tragedy comes something good.....
