I am a retired World War II and Korean War veteran. I had just returned from playing tennis with a group of fellow retired men when a neigbor called and asked if I had the TV on. I immediately turned it on. The devastation was unbelievable. I could not help but think of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and my hearing about that attack on the radio and wondering how it would change the world for us. The same thoughts repeated themselves.
