Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was scheduled to teach a class on Sept. 11, 2001. I heard by phone that a small plane had struck the WTC. We went to internet sites and saw pictures. Later our internet connection was lost (not sure why). Others at work were able to watch the news in conference rooms. I was shocked by the images, unbelievable. I heard about the second plane and then a third and fouth on the way, somewhere. We cancelled the class I was to facilitate, who could concentrate. My work let us go get our kids when the governor announced schools were closing. I was so afraid of what would happen next, I didn't know what to tell an 8 and 10 year old, the schools had not told them. We went home, I told them what I knew and I let them see it one time. All planes were grounded that evening, the skies were so quiet. I think I saw some war plans the next night. I've seen some amazing TV programs since Sept. 11 that have helped me understand things. I still cannot imagine being one of the people on those planes or being in the top of the WTC. I've seen pictures, but was never there, what an amazing set of buildings. I can't decide if they should build again, I say no if they will continue to be a target.
