On the tragic day of September 11, I was sitting in my computer class and the principle came over the intercom with the news of a plane hitting the 1st tower. Our principle decided that our entire school could sit in the multi-purpose room to watch the news. Even though we weren't there it sure felt like it. Most of the students started to cry just because of how aweful it looked and just the thought of what the people on the plane and in the towers what they were thinking. After that day about less then a month our school, Tri-unity Christian High School decided that it would be a great idea to take a group of students there around October 2-9 and help out with anything we could and I got to be one of those students. I talked to families and ministered to young children through drama and puppets. We helped with a church called Crossway and installed things that they needed, such as air-conditioning. We even talked with people on the subway and it was so amazing how they would right away open up to you and talk about their feelings and their emotions on this whole situation. I feel that this is only made americas HEARTS stronger. I pray everyday that this will live in our hearts forever, bond our nation as ONE,and may we never forget all who were lost. MAY GOD BLESS OUR NATION AND OUR LEADERS!!!!!
