Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was in the parking lot of Tedeschi's store in Eastham, Ma. on Rte. 6, sitting in my car waiting for my husband to come out of the store . We were on our way to drop him off at work at a house on Beehive Rd. in Eastham where he was doing the floors for a remodel. I was listening to the radio when the announcer broke in and said" This just in: A plane has hit one of the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. We don't know too much more right now. It could be an accident or possibly an act of terrorism. Stay tuned for more news as we get it." I didn't think too much of it, living on Cape Cod seems to make one feel immune to the problems of the rest of the world. Then as my husband was coming out of the store,the announcer came back on with the news that the other tower had been hit and it was definitely an act of terrorism. We both sat there shocked and said" Wow!" That's all we could say. We drove out of the lot towards the work site in silence. When we arrived at the work site I said:"I guess we're taking a train to Arizona next month because I'm never getting on a plane again!" We didn't..we flew out, buts that's another story. The rest of the day went by kind of normal but not as I went to work my self at Star Market in Orleans and bits and pieces of news dribbled in throughout the day. It was all really wierd and eery feeling, like Iwas watching a movie or something.
