Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was at work and in my office at Astoria Federal Savings. We opened at 9am and a customer ran over and told me two planes hit the world trade center. At the time I had customers husband and wife. They were concerned about their nephew who worked there. Little did they know that their son had an appointment where the first plane hit, He was getting a promotion. I found out two weeks later that the nephew was ok but the son did not survive.As a Banker and Financial adviser I knew many people who perished, I will never forget that day till the day I die.I value life now in a different way,I do not take anything for granted aand take one day at a time.
