Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I remember trying to find something on a video at home. I had the sound turned down. I looked up at the screen and thought I was watching something from a film. It was only when the picture of the 1st plane hitting the tower left the screen and the BBC Newsdesk came on that I realised what I had seen was real. Still, I did not believe it. My Mum was downstairs on the phone. I switched on the TV & muted the sound so she could see what I had seen. She put the phone down and turned up the sound. Neither of us could believe what we had bee watching. Had it been April 1st we may have passed it off as a joke. We didn't leave the TV for the remainder of that day. To this day I cannot remember why I was at home and not at work, it doesn't seem important now anyway.
