Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On the morning of September the eleventh, I was sitting in second period French class. When my teacher entered the room, I could immediately sense something was awry. He looked like he was about to address the class, when the principal came over the intercom. He announced that there had been acts of terror in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania. I was in a state of shock, but it didn't have a huge impact on me at first. I went through the rest of my day, mostly discussing the day's events in my classes. Some rooms had televisions, but the picture was not very clear. It was not until I got home that afternoon that I felt the full impact of the day. I was able to witness my first clear pictures of the tragic events and became sick to my stomach. It was horrible watching innocent people perish, not only inside, but by leaping out to the ground below. Later though my fear came for a different reason. My father is a police officer in Boston, and I was afraid that if New York and other locations were attacked, Boston could be next. I was afraid something might happen to him, and it was the first time I was concretely aware of the risk he took to his job everyday. Fortunately, no more attacks have occurred on our soil, and hopefull that trend will continue for all eternity.
