September 11 was our second day of training for our employer.My husband and I both were attending the class when the attack on the first World Trade Center building took place. One of the students in our class was on active army duty, and received a page about the attack. At first we all took it as a joke, considering the man was a kidder. Then we felt it was probably an accident.He received two more pages about the other WTC building and the Pentagon. A moment of silence befell on all. We knew this was no accident.I didn't want to believe this was true, and all I could think about was our 7 month old daughter. When a fourth page came about the wandering plane that later crashed in a field, I was ready to go home. My husband and I immediately rushed to get our daughter and get home. When we saw the news it was totally different from hearing it. We cried and couldn't stop for days. I kept apologizing to my daughter because I felt so bad to bring her into a world like this. Our anniversary is on September 16, and we found it impossible to celebrate last year. We just couldn't grasp that this was our new reality; that we are now a part of history repeating itself.
