I am an aircraft firefighter employed at Pemco Aeroplex fire department in Birmingham Alabama. I remember the feelings I had as I watched the attacks unfold on the news. The anger at what was happening. The unanswered questions of why this was happening. I still feel the hurt deep down in my heart for those passengers and crewmen that died that day. Even though no one I knew died in the attacks, I as every firefighter in the U.S. lost 343 brothers. May God comfort thier families.
