Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was getting ready for school and then the DJ on the radio annonced that a plane had hit one of the twin towers, I had to leave for school but was like wow. My first hour teacher wouldn't let us watch any news stations to find out what was happening, but our vice principal came on the intercom every few minutes to give us an update. In second hour, we were allowed to watch what was happening until our superintendent of schools called and said that we were not allowed to have the TVs on or call our parents to come get us. My school is only one mile away from Barksdale air force base,where president Bush landed and made his first announcement, and my fourth period teacher took us outside and let us watch Air Force One fly over. She also locked the door and trned on the TV and let us watch what was happening. I was a volunteer at the VA hospital, but wasn't allowed to go in that day because of the extra security measures.
