My story begins when my mom called me over to our small living room while I was in a chatroom on our computer in my brothers room. My mom told me that 2 planes have crashed to World Trade Center, NY...I honestly didn't know those buildings by name yet, but I had seen them in pictures before. It was almost 5pm here in Finland, and right after a tv-show the news was on. I went to watch it and was stunned. I couldn't speak. I saw those 2 towers in flames, people running on the streets, it was a shock to me! After 5pm I did nothing but kept my eyes on the TV...I kept thinking why could someone do that! I LOVE the US, it's my dream country! I was so afraid of what would happen next, would there be a world war 3?...I tried to call my American friend to Indiana, but no one could get through America by phones! I told people in the chatroom to turn on their TV's to see what was happening and I couldn't do nothing but stare and wait for what was going to happen!
It was a disaster! I feel sorry for those who lost someone they knew and loved...I feel sorry there wasn't anything I could do! I will never ever forget 9/11!
