Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I WAS LYING IN BED ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 5 1/2 MONTHS PREGNANT WITH MY FIRST CHILD. MY SISTER IN LAW CAME IN AND TOLD ME TO TURN ON THE TV. SO I DID AS I DID I SAW THE SECOND PLANE HIT. I WAS IN SO MUCH SHOCK BECAUSE I WAS WAS WATCHING THE PLACE WERE I WAS BORN AND RAISED HAVING TO GO THROUGH THIS. I CRIED AND CRIED. I TRIED TO REACH MY DAD FOR HOURS BECAUSE HE WORKS 1 BLOCK AWAY FROM WHERE THIS WAS HAPPENING. AND KNOWING MY DAD HE WAS GOING TO HELP EVEN IF IT MEAN'T HIS LIFE THATS JUST HOW HE IS. HE ALSO HAD TO HELP DIG OUT THOSE HELPLESS BODIES. I FELT SO HOPELESS BECAUSE I COULDN'T BE THERE TO HELP WITH ANYTHING. ALL I COULD DO WAS PRAY, PRAY MY DAD WAS OK, PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BUILDINGS AND THEIR FAMILIES. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAPPENED. I DIDN'T HEAR FROM MY DAD IN 2 DAYS. FINALLY HE CALLED AND TOLD ME HIS GRANDSON WHOM WASN'T EVEN BORN YET WAS HIS MAIN REASON TO LIVE THROUGH THIS NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED. HE WANTED HIS GRANDSON TO KNOW HIM AND MEET HIM. AND HE DID. AND NOW MY SON IS 7 MONTHS AND THERE IS NO SEPERATING THOSE TWO WHEN THEY GET TOGETHER. I APPERICATE MY DAD AND FAMILY NOW MORE THAN EVER BECAUSE IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANYWHERE THAT HAPPENED.
