I was in the 3rd grade at the time. When we were in the libary the libarian had the news on. Beining a very nossey child, I was listening to the libarian talk to another teach about the news. So I listened to the news to see what they were talking about. The news reporter was talking about the tragity that had happened in New York. I grew very worried because my great uncle work in the twin towers and my grangmother lived out there. I stoped paying attention to my lesson and had eyes and ears on the television. That afternoon when I got home from school I saw my mama trying to hold in her tears. I asked her why she crying, but she turned away in disappointment. My sister had told me that our uncle and grandmother had just died in the twin towers. I felt bad because not just love ones of other people had died, but the ones I loved most had passed away also. I will continue life remembering the my love ones and so will others. They will always be with me in spirit, but I wish they were still here in the flesh. No matter how long it has been or will be since the tourist had attacked, 9-11 has made history.
