I awoke about at about ten to the phone ringing at my girlfriends apartment. My girfriends mother was on the phone informing her that we were being attacked. She quickly passed that on to me as she turned on the television. By this point all of the planes had crashed. We were in utter amazement that this was happening. Soon after My girlfriend had to go to work so I went home. I had the day of but we had a departmental meeting, needless to say it was canceled. There was nothing I could do to get away from the T.V. I watched it for ten hours that day. While I watched updates and new camera footage I felt a whole range of emotions. These emotions ranged from empathy for the famlies who had lost loved ones to complete anger that anyone could do such a thing to innocent people. I also felt very vunerable, I as many other Americans could not believe that this could happen on our own soil. My mother always talked about remembering where she was when J.F.K. was shot and when we landed on the moon. I will always remember were I was on September 11 2001. I am sure we all will.
